....ah but George Best got 300% longer.
Even more shocking was Daley Thompsons clothes, everyone else wore a suit and he wore something I would wear to work on my car!

Of course he got a mention - even some spastic (can I still say that) in a wheel chair gets a metion on sports "personality" of the year.
