Default Quck Question - need quick answer

Just about to go out but want to leave the PC on for some downloads. Where abouts on windows can I turn off the automatic standby and thus leave it running?

i think you can carry on downloading,try it and see HTH

i know you can turn the screen off

I just leave mine running ..... haven't had any problems so far.

it should be in control panel options, power settings..

if the pc is downlaoding, it should stay live so to speak until downaloding and certian time params pass.

the monitor may go onto screen saver, but the pc should stay on

Thanks for the efforts folks. Thing is mine switches off after 10mins of no use, but I can change this. Taxi's about 10 mins away
