Default My freeview box freezes....is this a fault?

Or is it something all of them do?

I have to unplug it to be able to use it again.

My Nokia used to do the same, then I got hold of a software update and all's well. Check with whoever makes yours.

My freeview box has been doing this over the past few days now, freezes up then I have to unplug it from the wall then plug it back in, does it about 10 times a day! Glad it's only used upstairs for the little one and I've still got me Sky downstairs, but that buggers up aswell on occasions.

Mine used to do that very occasionaly. Doesn't anymore though. Mind you I unplug everything when I go out rather than leave it all on standby. Perhaps that's the secret.

You could have marginal signal reception and with the high pressure weather system we have at the moment, it could be making it that little bit worse.

Could be a poor signal.

Make sure all the connector plugs on the coax cable are properly installed and also that the cable connections on the aerial are also well made.
