I wouldn't have thought you'd have any problems with the screen itself, but the DVD player will be region coded to the US (Region 1)...

ie. UK dvds won't work

Also, if the tuner is a non-uk tuner (i.e. PAL BG or SECAM) you won't pick up over air television broadcasts.

would have thought the obvious problem is it'll run off 110volts not 230/240 like it should here so unless you have a transformer no it wont work

You can make this thing work with a bit of effort.

(Edit: I've looked at the manual for this TV and changed most of this post based on reading it.

Power:
It has an external 12v DC powersupply. Just take the one that comes with it to Maplin and ask them to sell you one that is compatible

DVD:
Yes it will be region 1. All I can say here is google. It may be unlockable by entering a code, or there may be companies that can do it for you

Display:
It supports PAL and NTSC on the Composite and S-Video inputs, so you will be fine

Tuner:
No chance of getting this to work. Get Sky or Cable and use S-Video to connect it up. If you want RGB you will have to bodge a SCART->VGA cable together. When Sky go over to HDTV in the middle of next year, you can use this instead.

The hong kong one will have power issues and a non-working tuner too.

I edited my post above after reading the manual. The only thing left to resolve is whether you can change the region on the thing (or buy an external DVD player such as an XBox)
