Unhappy Oh dear....

Hate to say it, but - I told you so. This guy is bad news

"Cameron vows 'tough' green action"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/4512202.stm

Mr Cameron has highlighted the environment, and in particular climate change, as a key area of concern.

He launched the policy review group at the London Wetland Centre where he will meet members of Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace. Zac Goldsmith, founder of the Ecologist magazine, will work alongside Mr Gummer, meeting environmental groups to discuss policy proposals.
He's jumped straight into bed with the eviromentals. Looks like we're stuffed then At least, he won't be getting my vote.

Looks like I'll be joining the swelling ranks of - "there's nobody to vote for, so I'm not voting"

I have to say that job in the States is looking ever more attractive.

I would not vote for any party that became any more anti car than Labour or offered flimsy environmental clap trap as an excuse to hitting the motorist with yet more expense.

Thanks. To be honest I thought my post was immature but humerous rather than mature and constructive, but there you go. Anyway, why are you so obsessed with the size of my parts? I expect your inferiority complex must really be getting you down. [waves little finger].

im smiling too, cause that means Tory's are another vote down, enhancing labours chances of many more terms in charge in the coming future. Every vote counts.

I appreciate the alternatives may not be pleasant, or that they may not do any better, but that SAF does not mean that NL therefore doing a good job or should not be held accountable. We need a major polictical reform in this country.

Your really should try reading sometime, I understand it's a skill they teach to 3 yeas olds these days.

I don't have "a side" I said they are ALL a pile of ****e and we need a major politcal reform to shake the whole damn mess up and maybe then we may get representation of the people rather than a bunch of self serving sycophants

Do they teach writing too? You should sign up for a course.

You demand reform because your party of choice has no hope of being elected.
Sounds like sour grapes to me.

What sort of reform did you have in mind? Proportional representation?
I could buy that. Danger is you end up with a coalition full of compromises and even less action...

I just want to live somewhere where I can be be free from the green nutters who are taking over everything, and escape the 'survellience society' that is being fashioned here in the UK. Sadly it looks like the 'new' tories clearly won't be able to deliver this, so it's time to make other arrangements.

Which part of "I don't have a party of choice, they are all ****e" do you not comprehend?

No, I didn't say a voting reform, I said a political reform.

Free advice for those living under a rock: try googling "Patriot Act" or "California emissions laws". Educate yourself.

Have you ever been to California? Ever worked there? It's much more educational than Google which seems to be where you get your 'experience of life' from.

No, but I just turned down a business trip to Baltimore not least as I refuse to go to a country who want me to apply for a visa just because I don't have the latest passport. Anyway, you enjoy your non-surveillance US society - as it hasn't affected you personally, clearly it doesn't exist at all. Nice to see your "principled" arguments, as ever.

The only 'principle' that applies to my argument is the principle of being able to live a life that isn't controlled by the ever watchfull eye of the politically correct thought police. Strange how those who are most vocal in these arguments are always the ones who have already 'got out'. Home sick or something?

C'mon UB, the Sates?! What you're suggesting is that Dubbya, Condi, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al offer a more attractive political make-up then Blair/Cameron

I know you can't really believe this.
