paypal not showing i have been paid but balance shows it?
sold an item on ebay to a buyer in canada-they have paid but when i checked my paypal balance the money has gone thro and is showing on my running balance, but there is no details of it in transaction history like you normally get-does paypal sometimes do this?-is it still safe to post item out?

Did you not get a 'Notice of Instant Payment' e-mail to your destination e-mail address either? If you did you can follow transaction detail hyperlink from within it.

yes-when u get one of these does it come from a paypal address or does it say its come from the other persons email addy-have emailed paypal and they say its showing on balance which i knew and i can get details of it by clicking on history tab-but as before if i do that it shows nothing.
If i follow hyperlink in email it does indeed show the transaction details tony-but soon as i click elsewhere and then go back to it, then it shows nothing.
