Default Deals on wheels - Discovery Real Time

Channel hopping there and saw Mike Brewer's programme, Deals on Wheels.

It was an old repeat from which year I don't know, and they were helping a guy shift his R reg Ford Puma 1.7.

His asking price was £14.5k ono, and he eventually settled on £13,900 after haggling....

I don't remember the used car market ever being this buoyant considering the new price of the car was circa £14k.....

It just finished and the closing titles said year 2001....

Surely this can't be right?

A three year old Puma for £14k and an 8 year old Golf VR6 for £10,500?

It can't be right. My Sister bought a brand new Puma 1.7 with all the extras in early 2000 and had change out of £12K (It was an import as Ford wanted £16K)
