as above-have just got my licence back from DVLA after adding C+E.
on checking the back of the licence i appear to have 'lost' cat C1 but still have cat C1+E
anyone had this happen to them? is it normal?
just looking for some info before i get on the phone to them on monday

i reckon that if i did my psv as well there'd be no room on the licence to fit all the groups

yes i'd say so
tbh after doing class one i realised how easy class 2 was in comparison
(cue floods of flaming)
as long as driving doesnt stress you its great
the driving will probabally rub off on your car driving technique
the planning ahead needed makes you a better driver for sure
well worth doing in my opinion
and going from an artic with 40 foot trailer to a ratty 205 diesel made the pug feel like a ferrari
