What an amazing woman!

I doubt many able bodied people could cope with looking after her whole family, but to do it with no legs is out of this world.

And the unkindest cut of all was that having used her arms almost as legs they were wearing out and she was likely to end up in the wheelchair she had desperately and bravely sought to avoid.

Thought she was pretty remarkable considering her disability. Just shows the power of the mind and a bit of strong willed, positive thinking.

Her family wasn't exactly the easiest bunch to look after either!!

Agreed - I thought she was incredible. In an age where women are judged so harshly against unrealistic ideals it was great to see someone who had genuinely come to terms with the way she looked. And she never complained or felt sorry for herself - things like that help keep things in perspective.

Good on her. Makes me sick to think of all the scoungers who claim to be too ill to do anything in this country. They should be made to listen to someone like this woman, a woman with pride in herself and her family.
