Bungee jump off a disused viaduct in Normandy was fairly exciting.
The drive back was more so - we were late for the ferry and the speeds we got up to on the French roads was just stupid
(if anyone knows that bit of road coming back into Calais... you know where the slip road does that really sharp 270 degree turn? Hit that at 90. In a Cavalier. )

Boarding a plane via a fork lift truck thingy with my Mum who uses a wheelchair... bladdy wobbly just before we stepped into the aircraft... dodgy moment.

Most interesting and exciting thing this year?
Has to be having the engine blow up big time on my Seat Malaga, in the minefield area between Western Sahara and Mauritania earlier this year whilst competing on the Plymouth Dakar Challenge. We decided to save money and not employ a guide through the 7 miles of minefields. We thought we could just follow (very close) behind a large truck in front of us. Unfortunately, the engine blew up and then it got dark quickly. When its dark in The Sahara, its completely dark. Following Arab tied tow rope to front of car and said "Follow me. No problem!". I didn't have much choice really. He towed us through the minefield dodging blown up mercs and landrovers and then towed us all the way 50kms to the next town. He even didn't charge us anything.
Sounds funny now but at the time I nearly threw up I was so scared. But definately interesting and exciting.
