If you got the ban through totting up then the points should have been removed from the licence. However, it is possible to get a ban but to retain the points on your licence in which case if you are convicted you are likely to face yet another ban. You can not get a ban without going to court so if they are going to ban you then you will have to do that anyhow. With this in mind it would be worth putting up a good fight, being "zapped" doesn't mean that you were doing anything illegal, just that someone is claiming that you were doing something illegal.

If you are STILL speeding after all those fines and points and a ban and then get caught again .............. you will be able to claim, quite successfully, that you are mentally disfunctional !!!

The very stupidity of not learning your lesson is 100% evidence of a very low IQ - you should be OK. Might have to attend the Asylum .... but thats about it!!
