Try a couple of the numerous agencies advertising plates in any of the car mags, get two/three 'quotes' and use the middle figure as a guide.

However it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay (like most things in life i know)

The agencies willl advertise the plate and take a percentage of the cost or at least thats what happened with mine many years ago.

To put it on retention will cost you £105. And to be honest I doubt if the plate is worth that.

If you want a quick sale then list it on ebay with no reserve starting at 99p, ensuring you put in the advert that you will charge an addition £80 to do the transfer.

I bought N6 PMG on ebay for £25
I had the £80 on top of that though.
No hard and fast pricing on these plates. They are worth what people are willing to pay. eBay is probably the best venue to find out what that figure is.

What apart from bit in the middle where the two halves are welded together?

I owned the car for two years, bought it in 99 from garage in Kew Alexander & something, cant remember their name and I paid £17.5k for it back then, man I loved that car!

I didnt do a great deal with car it was quick enough! I put the clear lenses on, the OZs and soon after I bought the car it had flat spots under hard acceleration which turned out to be a couple of faulty coil packs. Had them all replaced, a bailey dump valve put on and put it on the dyno at PE which I guess is what you've seen. I also had a trick stereo install not sure if that is still in the car. Yes the plate at the time was bought because as someone mentioned the WRC cars used to have WRC on them before they started using SRT as a suffix so I thought it was a cool addition to the car. It was always serviced at PE with absolutely no expense spared, it was in for a day once and cost me a grand having a major service and uprated pads and discs on the front, I looked after it well. Sold it in 2001 to a guy I think called Martin from Kent. I think mccraes car was N6 WRC not sure but if you dig around the archives on swrt.com you might find some old pics that show the plates on the cars.

Cheers

Colin's car was N1 WRC, it's now sitting in the Prodrive museum.
