Are you more intelligent when you've had a few?
Just thinking - I hate bonfire night (have always been terrified of loud bangs!) - so have had a few 'sweet sherries' Watched a bit of "Who wants to be" and was appalled at the thickie on there (Asking the audience for "Which county is Rotheram in a) Essex b) East Sussex c) Norfolk or d) South Yorkshire )
Does alcohol help you access long forgotten repositories of knowledge deep in the brain?

Of course it does, why else would it cause you to raise your voice so much in a pub when drunk? Surely this is to share your recollected pearls of brilliance with the less intoxicated <read less intelligent> mortals of said pub

Also, something i've been thinking about lately. Beer goggles - They work for you as well as others.
Let me explain :
You go out for a night out, have a few bevvies, the opposite sex (or even the same sex ) start to look more attractive as the night goes on. The bird you spotted as a '6 pinter' now looks more like a '2 pinter' (do the maths!) This is basic stuff.
Have you noticed as the drinking continues and the pit stops become more frequent that as you clock yourself in the mirror the better you look all the time?
This is where a camera on a night out is a bad idea, it spoils this mirage of beauty you see in the mirror and reveals a badly dressed, messy haired **** artist. Something's not right
