Winter Food
Well, hardly the weather for salads is it? (Not for dinner anyway!)
Tonight I have prepared a sausage and bean caserole for me and the Invisible one!
1/2 onion, pancetta and 6 herby sausages browned nicely in the pan, added mushrooms and diced potatoes - heated through. Chucked in a tin of tomatoes, a tin of baked beans and a good slug of red wine. Back to the boil and now in the oven for an hour.
Good winter food - goes down a treat with a nice glass of red wine! Plus house smells fab when he walks in from work - am I a good wife or wot?
Any other recipes out there I could be trying? (There's a lot of winter to come yet!)
