Colonic Irrigation
Anyone brave enough to admit to having one? If so what are your thoughts on the procedure and how you felt afterwards? How many treatments did you have and how much did it cost?
I'm happy to admit to being curious about this - There seems to be some definate health benefits. Not so sure about someone firing something up my a$$ like but no pain no gain as they say

LOL, I went on one of those when I was a kid over in america - I know what you mean
My reading up suggests you'd need around 4-6 sessions to thoroughly flush out the colon and at around £50 a session that isn't too bad I guess.

Look, PG - you like a go every now and then on my threads. You now have a choice:
a) shut up I have no interest in you (recommended)
b) continue in which case I will follow the normal channels and report you in each instance to the webmaster
c) come to edinburgh and tell me your opinion and concerns to my face

personally I don't think I'd go for it....you have a lot of very useful gut flora up there that help break down certain exogenous/endogenous substances - washing them away can't really be a good thing.
Bear in mind that the efficacy of the contraceptive pill, in some part, relies on the breakdown of one of its metabolites by gut flora (the parent drug is then re-absorbed). This is why some anti-biotics are contraindicated with the Pill.
Of course, as a bloke Saxo, you have nothing to worry about Pill wise - it's just that I don't like the idea of a pipe being shoved up my *** ;->

I'm curious because I've heard of some people saying that they feel really refreshed after it and healthier. I also believe that I'm quite bunged up - I know its not entirely scientific of me but even after a movement when I press on my stomach its always hard and bloated, etc. Surely if there is a build up of hardened crud it would do you good to get rid of it. The procedure does not appeal but the potential benefits do.

Would defo try the 'natural' route first. But if that fails, ask your doc for some Picolax. It works like you've swallowed a grenade. Warning: best not to take it at work

Apart from the fact that mankind has happily existed for millions of years without the need to shove a hose pipe up his **** to make himself feel better I can't see the need unless you have closet ****** tendencies.
If it's that bad go and buy some bicarbonate of soda and mix a couple of table spoons with water and that will clear you out.
