put an interesting v8 into any car? not just fords, anything? do you know of anyone that has?

A friend is in the process of compiling an article on v8 engine swaps, but they have to be made by manufacturers other than the popular v8s ie ford, rover and chevy.

Any help would be great.

knew a guy who put a V8 chevy into a stag body, 585 bhp. Lots of V8s go into kit cars as you say. But sorry don't quite understand the last part of your post....

And in the distant past when I was into drag racing there was V8 bike, EJ Potter was the guy I think........ prolly lots around now if not V12s...

the article has to be on alternative v8's not the usual ford 302 block into a capri or rover v8 into a mk3 granada etc.

something like the bmw 4.4 v8 into an e30.

The 'mericans have a 'what can you hemi?' competition where they have to make some unusual things powered by the 5.7 V8 hemi lump.

This year there was a hemi powered barbecue, paper shredder, leaf blower and 'kiddies' trike which won IIRC.

i've seen this mini. it was on the stand that my mates m3 was on at the great eastern pagent of motoring for PPC magazine.

sounds fantastic. got an aluminium beer keg for the petrol tank and the radiator is mounted on the boot lid!!!

that chainsaw is mental!!
