Default FAO doctors

I have damaged my ribs and back in some way A torn muscle I think but after 4 days its not any better and its hard to sleep when I can't lie down. Is this a problem for a doctor or better just to see a physio instead ?

You want to give swishing the spikey tail and pitchfork a rest mate.

Failing that, dose yourself up with iboprufen and take it easy.

How did you damage it?

Where is the pain? Be exact

Which if any pain killers have you taken?

Playing golf

Pain move somtimes right side of my back but when I try to lie down moves to my chest. Turning a car steering wheel left hurts lots turning right no problem. Trying to sit upright from lieing down hurts LOTS as does bending over to pick something up. Pain is always on the right hand side of back or chest. It hurts when I take deep breaths.

Not taken any pain killers.

Take ibuprofen 400mgs four times daily for 72 hours and see how it goes. If needed add Paracetamol 1g four times daily. If it does'nt improve see your GP
