FAO London scoobs....
Rebecca (scoobynet person for those that don't know ) has just phoned me to say there is a census on Lambeth bridge tonight, as well as it causing major congestion in the area she says be warned - the police appear to be looking under bonnets etc
Obviously no-one on here has anything to hide but just in case...

Yeah, this is common place at the moment it seems. But also the Vehicle Inspectorate are out looking for Red Diesel (think thats the farmers stuff) in Tranny Vans and also testing the odd emmision here and there (de-catted anyone) I was stopped on Chelsea Bridge earlier this year and could'nt turn on to the other side safely to have an emmisions test..was told to move off and to get my Cats put back on
I think that if you fail a roadside check on this, you are given whats called a VDR (vehicle defect notice)and are given 14 days to get it sorted (re-mot'd if required) and the certificate signed off by an Mot centre and then sent to the central ticket office to avoid prosecution.
There you go
