Ebay problem......
I sold an item on Saturday but the seller hasnt paid yet.He keeps emailing me asking if its alright to pay by paypal.I responded 5 times that it is.How can i check if he's receiving my emails or is he trying it on as he's changed his mind?
I responded through the message centre,and also through contact ebay member.

i bought an item on the 15th sept, and heard nothing despite sending mails,
i reported it to paypal disputes, and was prepared to call it a day ,,
i got a response from the seller he,d been away , and will send the goods asap

Hmmm, I think some people may not be reading what you have posted thoroughly 
It could just be that eBay's message centre has screwed up, hence he is not getting your reply for some reason.
Sounds like you will have to contact eBay for them to get in touch with the buyer to try and sort this out. Don't really know what else to suggest

Sellers don't pay they sell

Just start a dispute, he doesn't need your permission to pay by paypal it's just nice to know who's paying for what so he has no excuse for not paying.

.I was focusing on the "how can I check if he's receiving my emails" bit.
Just trying to establish if he's sent a message through ebay,
and if he's sent an email totally independantly of ebay...
Basically there's no reason for him not to be getting them so he is either a timewaster or away.
