Question What's Hale, Altrincham like?

Am off to see Eng v Poland next week and am considering staying at Hale as it is one of nearest places with hotel space.

Whats it like? Will the locals be friendly around midnight/1am?

Altrincham down the road from Hale has a good selection of pubs and places to get food. I dont think you will go to far wrong staying in that area. Had family living up that area for years.
