Default VISA to visit USA

Can someone just confirm this, i have checked the embassy web site, and as far as i can see i don't need a visa to visit the usa for a 10 day holiday.

I have a FULL UK Passport which is only about 3 months old.

I'm 99% sure i don't need one , but there's a few people keep saying i definitely need one. they may just be stressing me out though as i go next week.

You DON'T need a Visa to enter the US with a valid British passport. Under the Visa Waiver agreement you can stay for a maximum of 90days. You just fill in some declaration forms on the plane before you land and as long as you don't have a criminal record or have smuggled drugs in the past you'll be fine.

Passport needs to have 6-months remaining on it so you'll be fine with a new one. I was in Alaska over summer and never bothered with a Visa.

Have a good trip,
Stefan

Just make sure you fill out the green waiver form correctly (including all sections) or you will get sent to the back of the queue to fill out a new form.

You will also get your fingerprints & photo taken.
