Thumbs down The Chronicles Of Riddick

Did anyone see it on sky last night?

Apart from some snazzy special effects i was bored stiff for 1.5hrs! It had a storyline to it but there was just nothing there to it! I dont think i can recall any real memorable moments from the film!! Im definatly glad i didnt go to the cinema to see this! Apparently theres a third on the way too!

Pitch Black was quite good (the next story in the series)

Anyone remember the scene where they're navigating during the night, outside in the desert - a flare illuminating the way goes out. When the flare fires up again they're surrounded by those 'birds'

I enjoyed it Then again, I like almost every film I see as I'm able to just enjoy it for what it is rather than looking for deep plot lines all the time.

I sometimes wonder if there are actually any films out there that the scoobynet peeps like...

I enjoyed it thought the bit with the sun coming up and chasing them along was excellent! - Didn't even see it on big screen - saw on tiny one in a plane

How about 'predator & alien' - brilliant - also saw on plane...

'Pitch Black' is set before 'chronicles..'. the only people to escape the planet where Riddick, the girl, the black chap and his son.

Pitch Black was released before 'Fast and Furious', 'Triple X' and then re-released when Vin Diesel became a bit of a bigger name.

I like the film personnally; not to much to think about and some good action scenes.

Chronicles took itself far to seriously instead of just being a witty, one-liner action movie.

Loved Pitch Black and thought XXX was very enjoyable.

I can usually find something to like in most films; action, adventure, comedy. I even enjoyed ‘National Treasure’. The only films I don't like, as a rule, are those that rely on embarrassment for the laughs; where you are embarrassed for the character. For example, ‘Meet the Parents’. I hate this film, in fact I avoid any Ben Stiller film if I can.
