Default Posting a package to Ireland

I have had a look on the Royal Mail site, i assume Ireland is classed as Europe when it comes to postage, please can someone confirm this or put me right.

I have a 2KG parcel i wish to get to Ireland if that helps?!?

Morning Paul,
Southern Ireland is classed as part of europe, Nothern Ireland Classed as part of UK.
