eBay censors gone mad!
I have a copy of a Collins New Naturalist book (quite collectable) which I listed on eBay at the weekend and all went fine until I casually did a search for it like a prospective punter would do. Guess what? No listing for my book!
The ad was right there in 'my eBay' but no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find it by searching.
After several emails to ebay and even a live chat session with the eBay help desk in California it finally dawned on me.
It was all down to the title of the book.......the mighty eBay empire had been mortally offended by a book about cute little garden birds....the book title is........'British ****'!!
Apparently there is nothing I can do, even substituting a * for one of the letters won't work as the computer will spot it and cry foul. I have asked them to end the listing and return my fee, I can see I am going to have to be a bit creative when I relist it

It does sound a bit dubious at first glance doesn't it?!
Good idea about the latin name Scoobychick, or I might just try 'Britishtits' and see if that fools it!
