if he is in so much debt, how did he buy a 42" plasma tv a month ago? i do feel sorry for whoever wins that e-bay auction as most of his electrical goods are probably on time finance....

Here's a thought - if he sells everything he owns and uses the cash to pay off his debts (assuming he gets enough to pay all of it off) won't he have to start borrowing, using credit cards and getting credit loans all over again!!!!
Hmmnnn - it is ilogical Jim

Why do you feel sorry for who ever buys it? surely they'll win the auction take the stuff and dissapear.... although Im unsure if its a bargain at that price.

why? he'll be debt free (using your example) so when he earns his wage it'll all be his, no reason what so ever to start borrowing again. Hopefully hes learnt his lesson

Yep agree with the above comments after reading the list he's doing well to get 9k I cant see those items being worth that second hand and the old 'I havent listed everything' comment is bull really because you can bet he's listed everything of high value and everything that isnt listed is because it isnt worth anything!
I would say about £4-5k tops for all those items all the consoles, the gutars, drum kit are dirt cheap new anyway.
