Default Ice making machines

I would love one of those American style fridges but my kitchen is new just like my house & i bought a big single fridge freezer that fits into the space, so it wouldnt look right blah blah, but the main reason i want one is for the ice making machine

So is there any stand alone machines you can buy ??

Try Lakeland Plastics. They do one for around £200. We have one and it's brilliant!

Try the same store - they have little plastic trays that cost about £3 and you fill them with water and put them in the freezer - following day voila

Oh no Mr Sengravy - Ice bags are the work of the Devil. Althought trying to get the Ice out of the bags without taking your eye out can be a challenge the tying up of a floppy bag of water just isn't worth the hassle

Try the ones from sainsburys.....they are self sealing, no knots required.

Sounds like a mini flood just waiting to happen

I'll stick to me little trays - They're like the 911 of the Ice-Making world - Not broke so don't need fixing

The trays are even worse........half the ice cubes end up skating round the kitchen floor!

Those bags from Sainsburys defy logic.......they do NOT leak! just fill a few up, and leave on the drainer for a few mins to let the excess water drip off - then bung in the oven for 30 mins on gas mark 4
