I love smoked tinted chrome. 
One day I'll might get the Jugular done
Did use chrome paint on various engine parts..worked very well, apart from its very soft and reactive...the oil fumes and heat or any attempt at applying a protective laquer coat just turned it metallic grey
Funny thing was when it went grey it was almost an exact colour match to the bodywork 
Their stuff claims to be capeable of being laquered, hmmm, might have to have a word with my paint suppliers
