I'm considering a 2nd set of B&W P4 floorstanders. These are going with another set of P4's and to be connected with one Arcam alpha 9 amp. Would this work or would i need extra power?. The width and depth of the room is approximatly 30 ft by 12 ft. If some are for sale please give your best price.

Pretty sure that unless your amp can run two sets of speakers, (speakers A+B), you can't do it.

If you try, you'll end up effectively putting the speaker pairs in parallel, and won't that lower their impedence and overload the amp?

I stand to be corrected.............
