Light hearted car fun..
Time for a change.....
those older snetters, cast your minds back to the early eightys..
Audi brought out the 80 or was it the 100 with the really low CD 0.32 or .34 i think, it was all the buzz at the time...
carrying on from there what other much vaunted innovations are still with us, and how many tla,s would be splattered accross the back of the car...
NB only ones that have actually made it are valid
to start:
cd.32 abs (antilock braking system) sips (side impact protection system)
awd (all wheel drive)
add others as you can remember them..

Using the 80s lettering the convention the STi should be : Impreza 2.0i 16v DOHC Turbo VVT, but they obviously though Impreza WRX Sti Type Uk was a bit snappier

I remember old Volvos having Lambda and the sign on the front grille of some of their cars.
Always wondered if the normal person on the street know what the hell Lambda was.
