Ive been watching the C4 Lost program and have to say im struggling with keeping the motivation to carry on.

It all seems to be very very slow.... How is it that its such a hit in the US ??

Am i missing something in it ?

took one viewing to suss out that it's a pile of poo. Actually, I'd sussed that out in the first 15 minutes but was too idle to switch it off.......So many holes, so much cr4p, such a stupid storyline.........yawn...........

It is very slow.

Each episode basically looks at 1 persons life and the reasons why they were on the plane. Each character seems to constantly have a flashback.

It's just something to fill in the spaces between advertisements I would imagine.

as jeremy clarckson said in the paper today, all that happened last week was the doctor chased nothing in the wood and the pregnant girl had a drink of water.

it does seem that nothing happens but my g/f is really into it!!

You need to get the series on DVD, that way you can watch them at your leisure. It makes the whole experience a lot more rewarding.
Waiting to find out what X person on the plane did is a bit dedious.

I quite like Lost. I have seen it to the end, and some of the episodes are "fillers", where not a lot actually happens. Probably out of the 23, I found 3 or 4 dull.

But apparently the fun is that the show writers/ producers can fill a full series with crap without anyone having a clue WTF it's all about, but can feel all arty farty and intelligent about the fact they can have a million or so idiots in suspense..... It's ironic or something.

I didn't like the first couple of episodes, but the more recent ones are starting to be more interesting.

I don't think that you should view the series as being based on modern current life. If you did, the amount of holes in the series would just make you turn it off.....

bored me stupid...an island of idiots who have weird **** happen to them but dont tell the others that they:

killed a polar bear/can walk when their legs dont work/see dead dads/ect/ect

i read the episode guide for the whole 1st season - seems it just gets worse! Now given up.

Yep watched the first episode and couldnt believe how poor it was, people sunbathing on the beach the day after a plane crash, surely you would be suffering some sort of trauma/shock after something like that, total tosh!
