as it will probably be an expensive item
i recomend
1, make sure shipping is within the uk.
2, check if the P+P is reasonable,
3, have a look at their feedback, and see if its any good,
4, spend some time "asking the seller a quesion" to see their responce
anyway happy bidding!

Look at the feedback rating of the seller.... the higher the better usually.
I always check what they have been selling previously to get the good feedback rating. In other words if someone has a good feedback rating for selling items worth a couple of quid and is then offering a new Porsche it should set the alarms ringing.
Sold and bought loads of stuff with only ever 1 negative experience.
That was MY only negative feedback after about 200 items sold because the halfwit hadn't read the description or apparently looked at the picture I posted. If he'd read on he would have realised that I would have given 100% refund anyway but he still chose to leave a negative. Still makes me a bit cross
I'd recommend it but go in with eyes wide open

Seller may ask for Paypal payment. This would make whole thing quicker than personal cheque. So you would have to register with Paypal. Some peeps are nervous about Paypal, I have had no problems. You could post e-bay item on here for opinions from regular e-bayers. dl

wwp8 has a point...number 4 on his/her list...... very important.
Just bought a mobile through ebay, happened to need to ask one seller a question, turned out that the ebay account in question had been purloined from the original owner. It was a scam. So make up any old question, it will go through to the original account-holder and any discrepancies will show up that way.

OP - you'll be lucky to find one for sale in the UK on there ! ignore all the ones that look really cheap, as when you check the P&P from China and added insurance etc.. you'll see they arent such a bargain !
And, as suggested, do a Google search for the same item as you may well find it cheaper off Ebay - a lot of the electronics sellers on Ebay now are businesses, but they often sell cheaper on their own websites as they dont have to pay all the fees.
Check the sellers feedback - anything under 98% on a high amount ( 200+ ) of feedback, dont bother.
There are plenty of good sellers on Ebay, but in catagories like electronics there are loads of overseas sellers and scam artists, so just look at the sellers history and read ALL the details on the auction listing so you know exactly what you are getting for the money.
