*****. Didnt know that... the guy has bid £20 for the item then said actually hes willing to pay the £90 for it (which was the buy it now price....) how'd I get him to buy it then without having to run through the whole rigmarole of running the auction for the whole week?

Dave, get them to send you the £90 payment, then cancel the auction once you've got it - if you just try and end it now it will only show as selling for the £20 and the buyer might try to mess you around.

Tell them that you are a business and work from home, and for insurance reasons ( no public liability insurance ) you cant have personal callers turning up - offer to deliver it to them for free instead, with cash on delivery - I've done this in the past and its a lot easier than waiting in all night for some scally to turn up who never arrives.
You should be able to get a feel for the sort of buyer they are from their feedback - if you really dont want to deal with them at all, just cancel their bid and block them from the auction.

Even if there has been a bid you can still end the auction. You have to cancel their bid first.

just have to put in a reason.
