I just drank bleach - aw ****!
Evenin' all,
Tonight I have mostly been drinking bleach
Don't worry, it wasn't deliberate
When I finished work this morning I was struggling to clean my mug (couldn't get me hand in to scrub it!), and the tea had left brown marks at the bottom of it. That's when I came up with the genius idea of spraying loads of kitchen cleaner with bleach and a dash of hot water into my mug, and putting it away in my locker to work it's magic. Came to work tonight and my colleague offered to get the teas in, so I gave him my locker key..... you can guess the rest

I thought it tasted a bit 'strong' but I just assumed he'd left the tea bag in for a while
. It was only after I finished it I remembered what I'd done.
It was only about 5mm deep in the bottom of the mug, and I looked at the label on the cleaner and I think it is less than 5% bleach, but obviously the other 95% isn't just water. So far I've washed it down with; a cup of tea (obviously), 2 sanwiches, a packet of crisps, 2 cups of smoothie and a cup of water. I think I'll just keep drinking water all night to dilute it furter.

5% Sodium Hypochlorite isn't too bad, especially diluted further by your tea. The remainder will be surfactants and scent. You'd be vomitting blood by now if it was bad news!

my sister drank bleach from the bottle when she was two , only a mouthful or so . she was sick for a while but nothing more than that . we rang the doctor he said to drink lots of water and if she gets worse go to hospital. she was fine after an hour or so , so i think u should be ok.
