Bar/Restaurants in Cardiff
Staying in Cardiff Tues-Thurs on business.
Anybody recommend any good restaurants and bars to go to?
I'll be staying at the Hilton which apparently is next to a Ha Ha Bar
Dont worry about Price, Works paying for it!

If you're not worried about the price, give me a call and I'll show you the restaurants in and around Cardiff for a few days
Seriously, if you're at the Hilton they'll be able to recommend plenty of places, both in the city centre and the Cardiff Bay area (assuming the company will pick up the tab for the taxi) - depends on your taste in cuisine.

Depends what sort of thing you want, most of the places down the bay are overpriced posers joints - they call it the 'bay quarter' but its still the docks and you're still just as likely to be mugged for your phone or socks ! ( and even though its not far, DONT consider walking there from town ! ).
The clubs in town arent worth bothering with, couple of nice more traditional pubs though - City Arms is nice, friendly and quiet and you dont get much trouble, as is the Owain Glyndwr - stay away from anything called 'Bar' something as they are pretty crap.
Not many good restaurants in town though as most are further out, nice chinese near the City Arms ( cant remember the name ? )
