Smile Swimming with Dolphins

Why go all the way to the states to swim with Dolphins when you can do it here in Wales.

Used to swim around a bay in West Wales when I was a kid and was often joined by a porpoise or two, which at first was terrifying but great when you got used to them as they are very friendly creatures.

Yes, lovely animals!

I must have sailed miles over the years with dolphins swimming in the bow wave of the boat. It's like they genuinely can't help but change course to come over to play and show off near the boat.

Do you sail from Portishead AJM......?

Weve seen few dolphins or porpoises off beach here in brighton.

slightly unsual to see dolphins inshore i think.

No, from Cornwall and the Channel Islands mainly, depending where the boat is. We have a new Marina in Portishead though, although having to lock in/out is a pain with the huge tidal range!
