A work of fiction.
On full boost out of the tight corner with a tad of opposite lock flicked on in anticipation a millisecond before the power ,having weaved its way through the drivetrain, finds it target in the soft rear tyres, making them chirp like a petrified budgie, the opposite lock/rear drift equation was spot on as it had been a thousand times before, the track the same , the awesome symphony of driver input ,akin to a frantic rock guitar solo, worked it's magic through the drivers hands ,a blur at times,as they anticipated and humbled every squirm and drift that he made the car endure just so he could witness the corrections played to the wheel by a higher force as the track man/machine hybrid worked so fast it was nearly a spiritual experience he cost himself tenths of seconds on each corner on purpose by inducing mini slides and then correcting them at stupidly high speedsjust for the fun of it even though he was leading the race, his skill was so honed that this was just an effortless witnessing of a higher power trying to test him and his skill. In reality he was testing himself and honouring the ability that the universe was demonstrating through him.He drove on,the corners coming faster now and easier as he decided to lay the fastest lap of the race ,last corner before the start and finish and he stopped messing around with slides and the like and drove to the the letter of perfection not interfering with the control of the car he left his hands to there own devices and mentally stood back as God took over and humbled his attempts at playing, God drove to the perfect limit ,on the perfect edge ,no mistakes , no misjudgements ,perfection. After that lap life was never the same and a belief in a higer power was a foregone and secret conclusion in his mind, the universe took a serious turn and racing never really seemed the same again.
