Hiya guys..

Right..My car has been up for sale now for 2-weeks or so and im just wondering the best way/safest way for somebody to pay for it when they come to view it, as ive heard nasty stories about fake bankers drafts etc.. Do i march them to the bank or what? Never sold a car privately before..

Sold mine recently, got the buyer to do a direct bank to bank funds transfer. Gave them my account number and said deposit said funds into my account and the car is yours.... Phoned bank to check it was in and safe before allowing them to take the car. No messing about with tons of cash and no worries about dodgy money.

adjust the price first if hasn't had anyone view in 2 weeks Cash or bankers draft.
