TONIGHT with Trevor McDonald
Pay as you drive.
What is Mr Darling thinking of.
I can just see itm major conjeston all over the UK, so still just as many cars on the road. And what about the Haulage companies like ESL, James Irlam & Sons ltd for example. They do load of miles and they polute the most as they do the most of the miles.
If this pay and you drive this goes ahead in the next 10-15 years (once they get it all sorted out), ill be moving far far way from the UK if thats the case.
What are people thoughts on this matter.
Darren

my situ, would be as the woman who live's in the country village, personally i would be a hell of a lot better off,but on the flip side, her in door's would be out of pocket a little, from the figure's they were quoting
my commute is around 8 mile's per day via country lane's at five in the morning so 2p per mile=16 pence per day,x by 5 days=60 pence per week
That is for work, not including social driving, but most of that,as other scooby driver's,is hitting them back road's for a spirited sunday run out

JUst caught the last 30 secs but ... as usual with Nu Labia (in fact most governments) this is all about controlling us proles .... nowt to do with congestion or actually making our lives better or easier. Don't be fooled by all the congestion garbage - it's just a smokescreen to get us paying as much as possible so that *they* have control over our movements ...
Don't say you haven't been warned!

Have been watching BB (I know :rolleyes )
Did it put it all in a very positive light? Did it do what the Government wanted and to make you think it was a good thing?
