80's 'Brat pack' films
Managed to talk the other half into sitting and watching St. Elmo's Fire with me last night, after years of resistance, and she quite liked it.
So, I'm after some recommendations for other films in a similar vein, i.e. brat pack stuff, comedy / drama / romantic / whatever, all from the same kind of era.
I've started a little list of my own favourites, just wondering if anyone had any personal recommendations?
Breakfast Club (Had to be in there at no. 1 )
Pretty in Pink
St. Elmo's
Ferris Bueler's Day Off
and slight deviation, but the right kind of era...
Mannequin (Hmmmm, Cattral )
Footloose ()
Any more?

Another not strictly Brat Pack movie but it had Rob Lowe and the only 2 decent things about Demi Moore in, About Last Night.
Sorry Chip, I beg to differ, most of John Waters' films were pretty damned good Although he did introduce the world to Ricki Lake

Rob Lowe's starring in the stage version of A Few Good Men, and as my wife's a big fan, I obtained several squillion brownie points by booking tickets for a fortnight's time - I believe it opened last night.
As for films of the 80's, Breakfast Club is definitely No 1 and Judd Nelson was as cool as **** in them days.
Anyone remember Billionaire Boys Club?

I liked the Lost Boys and Stand By Me.
The outsiders was one of my faves as a kid, not quite the same to watch as an adult.
I never liked the breakfast club, not enough good looking men.
