London: - my journey to work...
OK,
this was my journey in to London today..
8.30: bow road tube station (wait and let 2 trains go by full of commuters)
9.00: arrive mansion house tube after avoiding sharing carriage with "bomber-look-a-likees, and remembering not to run inside the station.
9.05: nearly get my eyes poked out by some stupid bint with a 400ft diameter umbrella..(yes she was fat, but 300ft dia would have sufficed)
have a tear up with a lanky toff cyclist, who nearly takes me out on a red light junction. (yeah, you guessed it, fold up bike with 2" wheels!!!)
9.20:
the local coffee shop's coffee machine is out of order.
9.25:
safe and sound in my office cocoon!!! with an overpriced, unpronouncible coffee from some trendy toss shop.
oh, and the reverse will prob happen tonight on the way home!!!!
cant wait.
50mins till pub time!!!
BB

I offer a heartfelt thankyou to yourself and the rest of the seething masses for opting to work in the stinking, sprawling carbuncle that is London, so the rest of us around the country can enjoy a peaceful drive to work in the mornings without having to mix it with the riff raff!

I'm glad my painful commute helps so many in the sticks!!
I used to love working in london, with all the totty and short skirts kicking about, unfortunately, and i think, as i get older, this becomes less appealing and i really dont have any patience left.
time to make a few quid and scarper abroad me thinks...
safe journey home everyone.

I consider myself lucky:
Wake up at 9am
Leave house at 9.45am
Arrive at desk at 9.55am
If I get my backside out of bed to go to the gym, then that means:
Wake up at 7.30am
At Gym for 8am
Back at home for 9am
Leave house at 9.45am
Arrive at desk at 9.55am
Either case:
Leave work at 6.30pm
Home with drink in front of TV by 6.45pm
Very little stress and cost compared to what I used to do, not that long ago, so I am quite happy for now.
