Cool Colour Coded moth!!

hello all,any one into moths? does any one know the paint code for this one?,this was on my wall the other night and a couple of days after that!

Buchephalus ? Not into moths, but happened to see one quite similar in my garden a few years ago.

Of course I typed that name from memory

If you can't find it there, there is also a good site at http://www.leps.it/index.htm. It's Italian though, but maybe you can just look at the pics ?

I did a similar search like yourself when I found the (rather amazing) critter. I didn't need more hobbies, so I decided to forget about them, but there are some amazing specimen around.

The "red" are the eyes though BTW.

If that Italian site doesn't work, I'll PM you the email address of a Canadian guy who is heavily into this stuff (and helped me with my pic), but have a looksee first.
