Default Has anyone ever added up the costs on ebay

just went to list something, the listing fee was going to be £3.06
i started it at .99p wanted a £40 reserve but it said minimum £50?

i'm hoping for £60 for the item, then there will be a final value fee then paypal fees!

so its going to cost

listing £3.06
fvf £
paypal £

anyone fill in the blanks?

you are right it is too high. For selling items under £100 i use ebid (www.ebid.co.uk) now, much much cheaper and items still sell

just remembered if there is postage you will pay the paypal charge on that as well (3.4% + 20p) so the paypal charge will probably be slightly higher.

That's why I don't use paypal, it cost's me nowt to pay a cheque or money order into my bank
