site plans...........where from?
anyone know where i can get hold of a site plan, except the local council, as i heard they're expensive.

What type of plan?
A building could be obtained from the archietect, but it'll cost. Land can be got from the land registry or local council, but again it'll cost.

Also, depending on the council depends on the charge. One council we approached for highway boundary limits did not charge unless it was to be used in an extension application.

Do you mean a photocopy form the Ordnance Survey?
Libraries normally have them - rather than paying through the nose for one at the council, we used to send the office junior to the library and get him to get one saying it was for a college project. It only cost 10p for using the photocopier then.
