Business Grants/Finance
Hi,
looking to raise some finance for a business. It's fairly new and has only been incorporated less than 1 year.
Naturally would prefer grants as opposed to bank loans etc. The problem is further compounded by the lack of accounts although we do have a business plan.
If anybody works/knows or can suggest a place that may consider finance(not Venture Capitalists please) that'd be great

Your could try the small firms loan guarantee service http://www.dti.gov.uk/sflg/ that might be a good shout, or ask your local business link/chamber of commerce they *may* be able to help they are useless in my experience but some are better than others. What line of work are you in?
