hi there, could someone shed some light on Truvelo cameras? i was doing about 38 in a 30 and it flashed once, this was in nuneaton near etone sports centre i needed to get in the left hand lane and a bus and huge que of cars was blocking so i accelerated from 30 to 38 and didnt see the camera until a red flash appeared!! Im gutted because ive been driving for 6 years and have a clean license!!grrrrrrrrr is there anychance of getting away with it or have i been done?

So you;re saying it flashed but you were doing 38 in a 40. Two things - either it did not flash (and I'm not sure you can actually see when a Truvelo has gone off anyway), or you were going more than 40, enough to set it off. I suspect though what you saw was it not going off as I don;t think you can actually see when this happens. If you were doing 38 (as indicated by the dash), then that's about 35 in reality which means you'll be fine...

Very nasty position. and if you were doing 38.....sorry to say it you've been done. proper pants round there it's do or die when you come around the tight right hander and then...your nailed by the camera...very clever....NOT
