Had a lady buy something of me from USA-she cant use paypal for a certain reason (she's an escort lady so had her paypal acount closed)-she wont send me the money direct to my bank because it will cost her $45 on top of the money she owes me-says she will western union it to me but in dollars only-so what happens if i say yes to that-i know travel agents will do western union but do they then give me a dollars cheque or convert it and give me english money-either way-what would a travel agent charge me if i go into them to get this western union money transfer?-and anyone got any other idea's how she can get money to me as she is saying she wont pay anymore then $20 for transaction costs on top of the roughly $140 dollars she owes me.

Western Union should be fine, I've used it the other way around, my friend picked up dollars not pounds.

so if she goes to whoever in USA and sends me $140 dollars -pays $20 for there charges-when i go to a local travel agent to pick up money do they just convert it to pounds (The $140 that is) and give me the equivalent in english money-will they not charge me or does all that come out of her $20 charge-if so do they convert at the tourist rate or business rate?
