Yea. I think if I was there I would be getting quite angry with the PC elite at the front.

I see the idiot King and Queen of Chav, Posh and Becks are lingering in the wings like a bad smell LOL

Up until recently, I was their producer/engineer

Nice to see the guys back on the main stage - their popularity (and my subsequent royalty cheques!!!) seemed to have dwindled recently

Couple of hiccups but all in all, a good performance.

Annie Lennox was brilliant too - nice to see Jamiroquai's bass player (Paul Turner) playing too. Great set

The original bass guy never seems to play anymore. Just shakes a tambourine and does his rap in Red Wine. I love their drummer though - he really pins it all down very well.

You're almost right

The bass player is (always has been) Earl (Falconer) - he tends to play more keyboard bass (usually a Sine Wive, I'm getting technical now!! ) I can see where you could have got it mixed up, as Earl used to have dreads..... but then the ravages of age took over

You're thinking of Astro - also did the vocal for "Rat in the Kitchen".......

Jimmy (drummer) - good drummer but again, would prefer to play samples (hence the REALLY tight sound). He's playing a live kit combined with Roland TD5 pads firing drum loops - keeps every body in time

That's interesting, especially about the drumming trickery. I've seen some of his (jimmy's) high hat work though. Very intricate - no samples there.

Don't get me wrong - he's a bl00dy good drummer (as are the rest of the band with their respective instruments), but he's bl00dy lazy!!!

At one stage we had 22 Akai samplers

LOL those were the days! You could do pretty much the whole thing with a decent rack mount PC and a couple of quality audio interfaces now.
