Up until recently, I was their producer/engineer
Nice to see the guys back on the main stage - their popularity (and my subsequent royalty cheques!!!) seemed to have dwindled recently
Couple of hiccups
but all in all, a good performance.
Annie Lennox was brilliant too - nice to see Jamiroquai's bass player (Paul Turner) playing too. Great set

I love their drummer though - he really pins it all down very well.

The bass player is (always has been) Earl (Falconer) - he tends to play more keyboard bass (usually a Sine Wive, I'm getting technical now!!
) I can see where you could have got it mixed up, as Earl used to have dreads..... but then the ravages of age took over

You're thinking of Astro - also did the vocal for "Rat in the Kitchen".......
Jimmy (drummer) - good drummer but again, would prefer to play samples (hence the REALLY tight sound). He's playing a live kit combined with Roland TD5 pads firing drum loops - keeps every body in time

At one stage we had 22 Akai samplers
