NO!! Not me!! .... how many were hoping that a simple kiss would get rid of me??

Just heard a song with this title on the radio ... by UB40 - brilliant!!

UB40 just do covers, so I went to find out who did it originally ..... I've got 3 options:-

1. The great Barry White?

2. The Sylistics?

or

3. The Manhatten Transfer?

Which is the first? When was it released? Did it do anything in the charts? My Guinness book of hit singles doesn't list it!

Anyone else agree that it's pure class??

Or am I just a hopeless romantic ??
