Why? You locked out 
Depends really. I'm not a locksmith but I've called out emergency locksmiths in the past and its a flat fee of around £200 + £50 per hour. It can get expensive and cheaper to 'put the window in' and then get a new pane(s) of glass.
Saying that, they were master locksmiths, if such a thing exists.

No not locked out just walked past this reallt nice house tonight, nice M3 on the drive and then parked next to it is this crappy escort van with the guys name on and locksmith someone is doing alright!
