Where to get a tent
Hello
I need to get a 4 man (ish) tent for a festival in July. Its a private festival and I am DJing so no need to worrk about it gettingt ruined.
Saw one in Millets that was a 4 man dome tent that you could stand up in. Had 2 x sleeping bags/mats, 1 x double bag and mattress for 100 quid (look here )
Also saw one in Tesco that is a 3 man dome tent plus 2 x bags and mats for 40 quid.
I dont want a Rolls Royce one but i dont want one that will fall apart by September.
Anybody got any recommendations of online shops and tents that are suitable and worth looking at ?
Dave

The Halfords ones look good, there were some good package deals around about a week ago when i went in, for sleeping bags, air matresses and tent's all in.....plus free spoiler and fluffy dice.

I bought a new 4 man Vango tent from this place last year:
http://www.gear-zone.co.uk
They were by far the cheapest for the model I wanted and delivered for free.

Thanks for all the info. ChrisB - yeah i dont really want to be mucking around with gear too much at the moment. Anyway it will be the wife putting it up for the next 8 weeks as I have a broken leg in a cast (childish bouncy castle moment at my 30th birthday party !!)
The Millets one still looks the best value for money at that size, but i am not sure i need all those sleeping bags !!!

We bought a Millets Coniston 4 man tent last year as it was incredibly cheap and I wasn't sure how I'd feel about camping. Needless to say I now love it so want to upgrade to something better and I have a nice Khyam 4 man tent in mind. The Millets one has served us well though and they are fantastic value. My only concern was the fairly low hydrostatic head but it has survived thunderstorms and torrential rain and not let us down yet.

What about this one.
http://www.thenorthface.com/opencms/...productId=3099
Will cost about £3,500 but should be big enough.
